Sam Woodhouse is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Woodhouse Law Firm. Before creating The Woodhouse Law Firm, Sam was a Shareholder and the Managing Partner of the Atlanta Office of Cozen O'Connor, a top 100 global law firm with over 500 attorneys.

Sam is a trial attorney who has represented major corporations and governmental entities in matters involving business litigation and contract negotiations. Sam is an experienced trial attorney, having tried jury trials, non-jury trials and arbitrations to verdict in federal and state courts. He supplemented his actual courtroom experience with intensive classroom trial advocacy training at Temple Law School's nationally recognized LL.M. in Trial Advocacy Program. This culminated in Sam earning an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he graduated with Honors.

Sam has been called upon to aggressively protect his clients in a variety of complex civil litigation cases, including business disputes, cases involving catastrophic injuries, toxic torts, industrial accidents, wrongful death lawsuits, fraud and breach of contract claims, business torts, section 1983 actions, lawsuits against governmental entities, claims for punitive damages, constitutional issues, premises liability lawsuits, and mediation representation. In protecting the interests of his clients, Sam has handled all aspects of litigation: pre-trial discovery, motions practice, motions for summary judgment, Daubert motions and hearings, motions in limine and pre-trial conferences, as well as arbitrations, bench trials and jury trials. He is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Sam also practices in the field of alternative dispute resolution. He obtained a Certificate in Mediation after receiving formal mediation training. Sam is a Registered Mediator in Georgia and regularly represents his clients in court-ordered and private mediations.

In addition to his trial advocacy skills, Sam is sought after for his keen judgment and sound counsel. He recognizes that in order to properly represent his clients, he must understand their business goals and objectives. Sam is vigilant about learning his clients' businesses and industries, which enables him to craft and ultimately execute those legal strategies that drive favorable business outcomes. This allows Sam to provide advice and counsel to his clients to assist them in avoiding or reducing legal problems.
